International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching and Mentoring
The International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching and Mentoring is divided into four sections:
- The Editorial section addresses items of contemporary interest and provides an introduction to the articles in the current issue.
- The Academic Papers section, which includes well researched papers of between 3,000 and 6,000 words on any aspect of coaching and mentoring.
- The Reflections from the Field section that offers a platform for contributors to give an account of their experience of, or to express views on, a particular issue or development in Coaching and Mentoring, including those raised in earlier issues of IJEBCM. As such, it can inform or stimulate further research or development.
- The Book Reviews section comprises short reports (500 - 600 words) on relevant coaching and mentoring publications.
Papers for publication in the journal should be submitted to the editor, Dr. Elaine Cox, via email: ecox@brookes.ac.uk

The basic meta-model questions from NLP are good examples.
In response to "I can't" statements many people try to help by asking "Why?" or "Why not?"
NLP trained coaches would probably ask
- "What stops you?"
- "What would happen if you did?"
- "How do you know?"
- "When was the last time you did?
