Looking for recommendations
Currently what or who do you think is offering the best coach training courses out there?
If you could train again where would you go and why? If you'd return to your original trainer, why?
Seeking recommendations for a career changer from HR who is an expat now.

I can write pages and pages of recommendations for my training provider : The Coaching Academy :
http://www.the-coaching-academy.com/
They offer an amazing fully in-depth range of courses with all the help you could want.
The best thing for me though is the people, not only all the staff but
the quality of people that their course attracts. It is great to have
fellow students who are there with a purpose, not just to try it out.
If you put your hand up you will be simply overwhelmed with help and
support.
And if you want to see how they are go to one of their free weekend
training course! It will really get you moving :-) Please send me an
email if you have any questions : mrsdianabaker@googlemail.com

Dianna,
Regardless of the training, unless you specialize in something which is
needed by the consumer, your chance for financial success is unlikely.

Of course your goal for getting coach training is the first
consideration - just to get coaching skills to use in your health and
fitness business or to open a coaching business and be a full time
coach.
I am a graduate of the Advanced Coach training program of Coach U
and could not be happier with the training I received. Coaching is a
process and you can apply that process to all sorts of specializations.
I coach women who want to make more money - subniche entrepreneurs in
the health and fitness industry and corporate women in left brained
careers such as science, technology, pharma, attorneys etc.
Let me know if you have any other questions I can help with.

For quality coach training that will leave you more inspired about your
role inthe world- check out Invite Change. There are options for
on-site or virtual training- both of which have advantages and are
equally great.

Hi Nicola,
It sounds like there are a smattering of great programs out there. I
have multiple certifications and have found that the most value
provided for the investment is through the Center For Executive
Coaching. Andrew Neitlich is a Harvard graduate and is unbelievable at
the amount of knowledge, weekly call support, coaching tools and
processes, private calls, etc. that he provides to his students and
graduates. Currently, I am going through the Master Coach Training
program with Andrew that will certify me to certify other coaches. He
records every telecall to reinforce the learning. The list goes on and
on. Plus, he is approved by the ICF for added credibility. He offers
programs in executive, business and career coaching. Check it out at
centerforexecutivecoaching.com.

Hi Nicola,
I highly recommend the Newfield Network www.newfieldnetwork.com.
They have programs both in the US and in Europe and have some of the
best graduates that I've seen. There programs are very rich for both
personal transformation, new coach training and highly seasoned
coaches. They are ICF Accredited. We do a very rigorous assessment
process for on-boarding new coaches and the Newfield coaches bring a
richness to their coaching conversations which always for both
practical business results and an entranceway into deeper personal and
organizational transformation.
They also have programs for executives in organizations who must lead change or act in a coaching capacity.
Finally, if you already coach and would like to listen to some
seasoned coaches in a community of practice supervision, I am
facilitating a "Drop-In Supervion" on April 13th from 6PM-8PM Central
European Time.
The details can be found at:

We have "gallery spots" where you can just listen in - so this may
help you in search as we will have coaches from University programs,
Center for Creative Leadership, CTI, Coach U and Newfield.
Hope you can join us!
Warm regards,

Hi Nicola
I would highly recommend the New Insights Life Coach Certification
Programme. It is a very well established course and is generally
regarded as the most complete course around in that you not only get
trained to be a Life Coach but also how to set up in business and
establish yourself as a successful Life Coach.
It is a home study course consisting of workbooks, CD's and DVD's
and can therefore be completed in your own time. Full help and support
is provided.
